: The location is great but San Simeon is such a small place there aren't many hotels without a good location.
: This hotel has gone downhill in a terrible way. I have stayed many times in the past and it was not fancy but decent. I don't know if it's new ownership or the coronavirus pandemic but this place is now a DUMP. The room was smelly, dirty and poorly maintained. The floor was filthy, the light bulb above the bathroom sink and mirror was burned out, the shower was dirty with terrible water pressure. The best part was the two cigarette butts and hot Cheetos behind the nightstand and bed. I wish I had taken photos of the cigs/cheetos and the overall griminess of the room but we were too busy enjoying the area. Also, the overall grounds and building were pretty run-down. This used to be a decent place to stay in San Simeon but is now a flea-bag motel. I do not recommend!

: Pool was closed when we were told prior to checking in, poop on the toilet seat, boogers on the walls and dead smashed spider on wall, pillows are thin like sheets of paper, only one towel and it was dirty with pubic hair all over it. Never will stay there again. All rooms are hit and miss either will have a fridge or broken microwave but never both. Ac is garbage.

: They don't offer breakfast. Towels were white with yellow stains all over. Old make up stains all over towels. Coffee drips all over bathroom sink at time of arrival. Garbage/wrappers under the sink. Other guests were smoking weed. No microwave. No refrigerator.
